# Authoring Guide

What this guide covers, and where to find the other guides.

This guide covers creating and configuring dashboard definitions in the **Business Dashboard** M-Files application. It is written for M-Files vault administrators who create and maintain dashboards and their widgets, and who want to understand the concepts behind them.
