# Versions Support

#### MongoDB version support

DMK supports only the MongoDB versions officially supported by MongoDB. DMK may still function with other versions, but without any guarantees.

If you are still running MongoDB 6.0 or earlier, we strongly recommend upgrading to MongoDB 8.0. Version 6.0 is now deprecated and the DMK hasn't been tested on this version.

#### OS support

DMK has been tested only on RHEL 8 and 9.

The only requirement is Python 3.6 or newer, which is the default version on RHEL 8.
