Functionalities & Features

This chapter presents the built-in functionally and features of DMK_DBDUPLICATE.

  • Standardized way to create duplicates/clones of Oracle databases

  • Easy to use

  • Script based database duplicates/clones.

  • No need to know the oracle rman syntax for database duplication and no need to have any experience in database clones. DMK_DBDUPLICATE will do it easily for you.

  • Clones/Duplicates can be either:

    • From Active Database (Oracle 11g and higher)

    • From Backup (Oracle 10g)

    • From disk or from tape
